Silverthorpe and Daughters is a tiny independent apothecary and mercantile establishment nestled deep within the magical and ancient Isle of Avalon, Glastonbury, in the United Kingdom. We specialise in supplies, art and homewares for the modern witch.

We wanted a subscription service that would send us everything we needed to celebrate the witch's sabbats in time for us to celebrate them, packaged up nicely without any plastic, offering vegan-friendly options. We couldn't find one and so we made one.

Our boxes are different...

Our packaging is 100% recyclable or reusable and 100% plastic free. We produce no more than a waste-paper basket's worth of waste a month and are working to reduce that even more.

All our boxes come with a vegan friendly option and we keep animal bi-products out of our ink and packaging so you can buy with confidence.

The majority of our spell ingredients are locally foraged from within a half mile radius of our home, many from our own garden.

Our crystals are sourced from local crystal suppliers and are from reputable sellers only. In most cases they are in their uncut, unpolished, natural state and as often as possible they are British specimens. This might mean they are a little smaller, but they are all the more special for it.

We source vintage items and give them a new life. We wholeheartedly believe that some of the best things are old things and often send out carefully chosen vintage and antique items in our boxes (every month in our Deluxe Sabbat Boxes).

Most of our packaging and goods are designed and made in-house by us, exclusively for us. We are a small and handmade business and by buying from us you are supporting independent British businesses.

Every six weeks, in time for the upcoming sabbat, we send out our carefully curated boxes...

Our Sabbat Celebration Box typically contains sabbat appropriate herbs, locally foraged spell ingredients, witchy seeds, altar tools, crystals, candles, ideas for sabbat rituals and many more surprises, all packaged into a box that is just the right size to slip through your letterbox.

Our Deluxe Sabbat Box combines everything from the Sabbat Celebration Box along with added vintage and larger items. These are really limited in numbers and no two boxes are alike!

For those on a smaller budget we also offer a Light Box which contains either a carefully chosen crystal or a packet of witchy seeds (you decide) along with one or two other surprise items. These are sent monthly on the first of each month.
